I liked the shower the most, the pictures don't do it much justice. The stylish big bath tub, well lit bathrooms, with 2 windows. The private room entrance, and the spacious secure car park. The garden is well maintained, the swimming pool was clean. 😏 The WiFi was not working, even after I asked for the log in details in the morning, still wouldn't work. I wasn't even given written information on how to connect, just verbal and only when I asked. The TV in room 20, not working, the receptionist CASUALLY telling me it only has ONE CHANNEL - no explanation no apology, no batteries in the remote control, he promised to bring them, he never came back. Good thing I only booked for 1 night. The fact that there is no Kettle in the rooms is a deal breaker. No drinking water even

You cannot go wrong staying at this property. Every employee that I encountered were incredibly polite and efficient. I have stayed at other properties in the Johannesburg area and they were enjoyable however not even close to my stay at Premier O R Tambo. All my future stays will be here. My compliments to management for hiring such an incredible staff.

I don't have any negative comments,just to say, again, that the walk is a bit long for people ,like me who have leg issues.I don't need a wheel chair but get tired after long cramped flights.A little train,as they have at Dubai airport would be great.If you need supplies,like toothpaste or want to go and do a bit of shopping in the airport if there's time,its off putting to know its such a long walk on wobbly,old legs with hip problems.

Unreal that it's a Southern Sun and has the word International alongside! Outdated, unmaintained rooms, bathrooms, and furnishings, in particular the carpets throughout. Cleanliness was definitely lacking. They did not cater for vegetarians and vegans. Had to wait in line at reception to check in Couldn't bring own bottled water to restaurant. The service at the restaurant was horrendous. When we asked for tea, the cups were dumped in front of my mum and then the waitron went off for saucers and then again for spoons and the tea! There was no customer service or excellence in execution of tasks. Waiters forgot that we had ordered items and when they were brought, it was much delayed and unprofessional. Airport transfer is ridiculous as it only arrives or drops off at International terminal. This was not mentioned during my booking emails and so I had to pay for a taxi at domestic terminal to the hotel upon arrival as there were 2 elderly and 1 child in our family. Absurdly ridiculous process even though I asked for assistance telephonically from the hotel reception upon arrival and from the concierge when I arrived at the hotel.

very close to the airport hence very convenient if you connecting flights. they also offer free airport shuttle which is good. But be warned the rooms are very very very basic, so not for leisure travellers. they also offer a pretty decent breakfast

I like most the convenience to the airport. The breakfast and the service at breakfast time was very good and I liked the air conditioning. I didn’t like the service at dinner time. It felt disorganized - the tables weren’t cleaned. I was seated at a used table. It took along time to get our orders. I didn’t like the outdatedness of the hotel room decor. There also was no hairdryer.
